BIRRD (T) Hospital located in Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh is 350 bedded premier Orthopaedic institute providing basic & advanced Orthopaedic care for that last 30 years.. Providing world class speciality Orthopaedic services for free in Adult reconstruction, Paediatric orthopedics, Arthroscopy, Spine & trauma, with a special emphasis in Deformity correction. Institute is organizing regular workshops and conferences with eminent national and international faculty inview of continuing medical education. Equipped with state of the art 12 operating theatres, 25 well experienced faculty.. Resident programme: 6 residents will be appointed every year through nationalised entrance exam, will be exposed to all subspecialty work, with case load ranging 40-50 surgeries (majority being joint replacements) per day and 6days a week.. Hostel facility is there within the campus with nominal fee,. Stipend 32,000 per month.. Academics: Case presentations, well established 24hr library, Regular discussions regarding pre & post operative cases,. Clearing dnb exams from this institute is easier compared with other centres, being a cold orthopaedics dominated patients load, residents were exposed to all types of cases.. Residents from other institutes visit & participate in clinical sessions in view of practical exams.. Passing rate 85-100%. Fair hands on experience to residents as it is a high volume centre.,
3 primary( Post MBBS, 3years course) & 3 Secondary DNB (Post Diploma, 2years course) seats in January session of every year.. Hospital is attached to Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women.. Residents wil be involved in undergraduate teaching programme for MBBS students..
