Our Dept has 2 units .. alternate opd and ot.. full treat ment free of cost to patient.. our stipend 25k 26k 27k each year
Case load is full .. perday 6-10 cases were posted including minor cases like implant / ilizarov removals
Cutting good chances in 2year and final year.. academics.. every day class arranged by ourselves with mentorship of senior residents
6 tkrs per month
Working environment is good .. sisters take care of the house surgeons duties .. like blood transfusions
No CMOs in hospital ..Sisters take the first look on patient.. one ortho resident (in turns) has to stay in emergency Dept at any point of time..

Non teaching hospital according to MCI
One unit chief specialized in ilizarov .. the other unit chief, Hod specialized in arthroscopy .. one case of their speciality compulsory per day in respective ots
Waiting list for 3 months is usually there
Sometimes 2-3iliZarov or scoot cases were posted
Residents job is to arrange cases by calls from hospital phone or give them dates and .. make them fit
One or two intertrochanteric cases are usually there in view of high load and fluorosis done by residents
Few spine occasionally once in a month ..
No THRs
Lots of Pediatric is also done by ilizarov specialist..
Hugh number of CTEV corrected.. Dr jayanth sampath is visiting consultant comes once in month.. does two or three difficult cases .. gives opinion about other cases also as what to be done
